Installation instructions

Install Corllete Lab Widgets Plugin
Extract Beam Widget package content to \'widget/\' folder of CL WIdgets plugin
Go to CL Widgets plugin administration - Widget List and install Beam Widget
Go to Beam Widget configuration area and personalize it
When you switch to theme which supports Beam Widget, you\'ll see additional Theme settings form on your Widget Configuration screen.

How it works?

At first place, you need to install e107 theme (developed by our team or any other theme developer) which supports Beam Widget. At the time I\'m writing this, the only theme in the world compatible with Beam Widget is Premium Theme Beam (not a surprise, isn\'t it?). However we are planing to modify more our themes to work together with this great Widget, and the list of all (known) compatible themes will be updated here.

Developer Club Members

All members of our Developer Club will get assistance in integrating their themes with Beam Widget. They also will be able to add feature requests and get priority programing support.

Requirements and known problems

You\'ll need e107 v0.7.24+, CL Widgets v1.0.4+ with enabled 0.8 compatibility mod, PHP5+ to make the widget work proper. Additionally, if you wish to use Latest forum posts and Latest Pictures Tabs, you have to install both Forum and CL Gallery plugins.

This widget and actually the whole CL Widgets plugin will not work properly when installed together with JSHelpers or e107Helpers plugins because of Javascript conflicts.

Q: Widget?!
A: Think of it as sub-plugin. Widgets has it\'s own functionality, administration area, shortcodes, bbcodes etc.

Q: Do I really need CL Widgets \'e107 v0.8 compat mod\' with Beam Widget?!
A: No, it\'s only recommended for better Administration User Interface view (tested on \'jayya\' only). Of course you can always enable it if you want to get benefits from the new e107 JS API.
