I got my host to turn safemode off...
I entered the filetypes i want. now it says the upload was sucsessfull, but there are no files in the gallery. No files gets uploaded. The same goes for every other file upload site wide.
Cant seem to be able to upload anything. And i get no upload errors either. :(

I have a problem with latest sgallery. It won't produce thumbs.

After moving hosts i too am getting this and my new host class it as a security risk which is why they have it disabled i can only modify files within my home folder.
"it is correct that you can't modify any files above /home/mysite/ (your home directory"
I am on shared hosting.
Safe mod off.
Would an update fix this or i am stuck with it and basically cant use this great plugin as there are no thumbnails etc. :(

The default value of allow_src_above_docroot is false - so phpthumb do not allow permissions of files above docrrot itselsf. I think the problem here is $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['document_root'] - try to "hardcore" it in phpThumb.config.php. With the exemple below it should be:
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['document_root'] = D:/www/criens.nl/www/

GD is installed and working.
The above error has now gone as i have it resizeing etc but its not adding "thumbnails" to my cache folder and yes its "CHOMD 777" any ideas? as i am now at a loss :(
To get it this far i changed this line in the phpthumb.class.php
var $config_allow_src_above_docroot = true;

seems like a really awesome plugin however.....
i had the problems like all the above and changing the src option to TRUE worked however now all the images appear as the default corerlttlab pic thing and it doesnt actually show my image? also do i have to install ilightbox plugin seperately>?

ok have actually got the images shoing fine in the lightbox when i click thumbnail however the thumbnails arent being created correctly?
