I have the settings for my gallery so that individuals in the 'current members' user group can have 3 albums each. However, there are a few club officers that I would like to grant privileged rights. I've created a user group called 'calendar administrators'.
I don't really want to set them up as a 'true' administrator. But I would like them to be able to use the XP Upload, have unlimited albums, unlimited bandwidth, approve albums/images, etc.
Is there a method for doing this? Could what I'm looking for be the "User albums management permissions" drop-down? If so, what permissions does it give? (I'd experiment, but people are staring to upload and it would confuse them.)

I don't know if this is the right solution but you can make these users administrators with rights only to administer the gallery.

That might work. But I confess that I'm having a brain cramp. How are you thinking I would set that up?

1. Go to Admin -> Users -> Users
2. Find a user and from the dropdown field on the same table row choose "Make admin"
3. Then go to Admin -> Users -> Administrators
4. Click on the edit icon for your new created administrator
5. On the next screen you can choose the user permissions.

Thanks SonicE. That is going to have to do it for now. I appreciate your help. I had yet to dig in to the 'make admin' functionality. This will help me going forward for other tasks.
It would be nice feature to allow more than one level of user. In that way a site admin could allow 'regular' users one set of rights and 'privileged' users another set of rights, but not have to give the 'privileged' users full admin rights.
