Hi - Many thanks for the free Overall Theme :-)

Sadly I have managed to upset it and would like to know how to fix it?

I put a custom banner on my site which was too large and unfortunately this made my site links, site search, login box and the rss, facebook,twitter icons etc shift over to the right by about 30 pixels.

I removed the banner and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the theme also clearing both the browsers cache and e107's cache (even though it's not in use).

These attempts to rectify the fault have unforunately made no difference.

How can I sort this beautiful theme please.

Many thanks for your help/advice.

Hi veskoto thanks for getting back to me over the theme. My site is www.heathers.co

I have also listed this at the e107 forums please see:

http://e107.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?221774

Tgtje has been very helpful and has checked it in various internet explorers etc and a couple of screenshots of the problem are on there.

He seems to think it's ok - But I'm sure it's behaving different since I installed that banner.

Please advise - Best wishes

Hi Veskoto - Thanks for your super speedy response.

Here are the pics:

This one is showing the vertical line of extra pixels that are showing up.

This is what Tgtje thinks is going on here:

Seen an extra effect when resized FF window at 800x600 then a blue field exist (right column) so their could be some css differences somewhere (prob. related to area next to top search).

This last pic is how it's looking in the admin/menus area - I have included it because it's similar to the image above

PS Credit has been given to you guys at www.heathers.co on the about us page.

Many thanks for taking the time to help me.

Best wishes

what is your screen resolution?
about sitelinls: edit style.css .header-right-top padding to: padding: 20px 0px 6px 0px;
if you see site from phone/tablet PC - use e107 Mobile plugin with mobile theme.
theme width is 1000px - read info.

Hi Veskoto - Screen res 1024x768

Tried editing and shifting the links and then clearing cache but it remains the same :-(

It's not a major problem, so I do'nt want to take up any more of your time on this.

Once again thanks for your assistance - Quality!

Hey Veskoto thank you so much for your insight - Tried all sorts of things now, Shrunk the slider by an incredible 50 pixels thinking it would cure but alas this did not work :-(

Then I delved into the themes .css file and searched for 640px it found a couple of these so I altered it and really upset the theme lol - So I restored from backup and returned the slider back to 650

I went and looked again at the .css this time I looked for 650px and found 1 instance of it, so I dropped it down to 640px and this seems to have done the trick.

Not sure of what exactly I have done, but the line I altered (165 in notepad++) is:

.header-search-top { height:50px; width:640px; background:url(images/header-top.png) repeat-x 0 0;; position:absolute; z-index:999; }

Is this the correct way to solve the problem? Cannot see any problems with what I have done so far.

Many thanks for your top service for a free theme - Very Very Grateful ;-)

easy way: change slider width from js files.
if you don't want to change it - change this:
.col-main					{ width:680px; padding-right:0px; }
.col-menu					{ width:320px; }

but i don't know how this will affect to other code.
