Hey guys,
I searched the forums for an answer to this so I apologise in advance if it has already been posted.... I simply could not find it!
What I have.
I have all the requirements to install these applications correctly.
What I have done.
I first installed Corllete Lab Gallery onto the server
This works fine.
Next I installed CL Widgets Controller
This works fine.
Then I applied the "Shadowbox" widget and it appears to work fine.
The problem.
Whenever I click on a thumbnail in the CL user gallery it opens the image in a new window AND in shadow box.
If I close the new window I can use the shadowbox function normally - which is cool. What I would like to do is prevent CL Gallery from opening images in a new window and also in shadowbox.
Is there a simple way to disable CL from opening images in a new window??

go in Shadowbox Configuration and enable:
Load SWFobject JS
Lightview Fix

It is a controlled site as one would expect.....
You would need to have an account with the website.
Such is the nature of e107 sites that are limited by private menu functions.
I am not exactly about to make a gallery function of which people can upload to "Public".
That would be idiotic of me.
Don't worry however, it seems I am wasting both of our time.
Instead I will simply use another application to create the gallery.
It would appear, after some research, that there are far better available.
But thanks for trying to help anyways....

hmmm i seem to be having the exact same problem - tried the settings set above and still opens a window in addition to the shadowbox.

My bad - I hadn't updated from a very old version of CL gallery. problem fixed by updating to newest version.
